Replacement drawer at amFilm

The honest version

A screen protector is designed to be destroyed. A sheet that cracks after an impact has done exactly what it was built to do, and that is not a defect — it is the reason you bought it. This is why our sets ship with spares.

What we treat as a fault

A sheet that does not match the cut line of the model it names. Adhesive that will not bond across a clean, dry screen. Delamination at the edge within normal use. Missing tools in a sealed set. Any of these, tell us and we will replace.

How to return

Returns run through the partner store that took the order, under its own policy and window. Start there — it is faster, and the refund comes from the same place the payment went.

If the issue is the product rather than the purchase, write to us as well with the model and a photograph. We log every fit complaint against the cut line, and a repeated one gets the line redrawn.

When to swap a sheet rather than claim

There is a point where a tempered glass screen protector stops working and it is not always a crack. Scratches collect in the oleophobic top coat long before the glass is structurally finished, and once the coat is worn through, fingers drag instead of gliding and the screen looks hazy under raking light. That is normal wear across a year of pocket use rather than a fault, and the fix is the spare in the box.

A chipped corner is the other case to act on early. A chip gives grit a lip to collect behind, and grit behind a sheet grinds against the original screen — which is the exact damage the protection was bought to prevent. Lift it, clean the panel and fit the second sheet.

What we cannot replace

A device screen that was already cracked before the protector went on. A sheet that was removed and refitted. A protector cut for a different model year. A sheet that failed by taking an impact, because that is the glass doing its job rather than a defect in it.
