What the fit on the Nintendo Switch 2 looks like

Daily use, scratches and replacement

Day to day the sheet is a matte finish that scatters overhead light and takes the gloss off reflections. Fingerprints wipe off with a dry cloth because of the oleophobic layer, and touch response does not change — the glass is thin enough that the digitizer reads through it unchanged. Expect a year of normal use before the surface starts to look tired; a sheet that has taken an impact will show a star or a crack line, and that is the signal to swap it. Keep the dust sticker from the box until the second sheet goes on, because a trapped speck is the usual cause of a bubble that will not press out.
