Impact rarely arrives head-on. It arrives as a corner tap on a table or a slide down a concrete step, and tempered glass is the layer that absorbs it. We cut this sheet for the iPad Pro 11 so it sits flat where the panel is flat. It goes on by hand with the guide frame from the box, which holds the sheet square while it drops. The glass is rated 9H for scratches, carries an oleophobic top coat for smudges, and lifts off cleanly when the time comes.
Expect the sheet to be a matte finish that scatters overhead light and takes the gloss off reflections in daily use, with fingerprints that wipe rather than smear. The glass adds enough thickness to feel solid and little enough to keep gestures crisp. Scratches land on the protector, not the panel, and when the surface is cloudy or starred the sheet comes off and a new one goes down. If a small bubble survives the first hour, lift the nearest corner, dab the dust with the sticker and lay the sheet back down.

If you plan on using this exclusively with the Apple Pencil to texture is amazing. Even better than paper mate I promise but if you’re looking to have a in between interactivity where you need to swipe up with your finger sometimes it won’t make contact. I have found it to be in responsive while swiping up from the bottom.

Maybe not for everyone but I now prefer / love it! There is no loss of screen interaction and interestingly (for me), less finger ‘muck’ however it needs to be wiped down every so often (but less than the glossy screen versions). The anti-glare is great and very easy to install. Good luck!

It’s very simple to instal and the touch screen still does work. As well with the apple pen there is little fraction for the artists out there. Helper really well with making the screen feel like paper. It’s soft to the touch and there is little glare whenever having a light on top.
